Really excited to share photos from Nikki & Drew’s beautiful wedding at the Frisco Heritage Center! They mentioned to me how much they love the stained glass windows in the chapel so I had a mission to make a really special photo for them using the stained glass that they love so much. There are so many great locations for photos at the Frisco Heritage Center with two chapels, a log cabin, two victorian houses and the train depot. It’s a great location for not only a wedding but also engagement and family portraits too!
Aimee & Isaac

I believe I heard somewhere that it’s good luck when it rains on your wedding day. Aimee & Isaac are certainly in luck then because it rained all day and all night, but I don’t think they even noticed because they were so excited that their wedding day was finally here and there wasn’t anything that could ruin this day for them. Luckily their wedding was indoors at the Northeast Wedding Chapel but we didn’t let that keep us from going outside for some fun photos in the rain. I also wanted to post a couple of my favorite photos from Aimee’s bridal session at The Milestone in Denton. Congratulations Aimee & Isaac! I know you don’t need luck when you have so much love.

4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays! Who wouldn’t enjoy spending a hot summer evening with your closest family and friends shooting off fireworks until the wee hours of the night right? This year I’ve been so lucky to work with couples who share my love of fireworks and I have gotten to photograph some amazing fireworks displays at some amazing weddings. So I decided 4th of July was the perfect day to post some of my favorite fireworks photos that I’ve taken this year and also a few from previous years too. Lauren & Ryan’s Wedding at the Filter Building

A few weeks ago I photographed the beautiful wedding of Lauren & Ryan at the Filter Building on White Rock Lake. I always love photographing weddings there! Wendy and her team with Each and Every Detail did such a wonderful job making everything perfect for Lauren and Ryan’s wedding and I absolutely love the tree stumps used throughout the ceremony and reception. How fun!
What I loved the most was how Ryan made Lauren smile! She was always laughing or smiling when Ryan was next to her and you could see the special bond that these two have in every photograph. Such a special day for a very special couple!

Karlie & Tarang’s Destination Wedding in Charleston

The last day of summer is upon us and what a summer it has been! A summer full of wonderful weddings and wonderful people and two of those weddings were at two of my favorite southern wedding destinations, Charleston and New Orleans. I already posted photos from Ayahna and Cedrick’s wedding in New Orleans at Southern Oaks and now I want to share the Indian wedding of Karlie and Tarang in Charleston earlier this summer.
Karlie and Tarang had 3 days of events leading up to their beautiful Hindu ceremony and American ceremony at Magnolia Plantation. It’s always a joy to photograph weddings there among the spanish moss, gardens and the beautiful marshland along the Ashley River. The Friday before the ceremony they had a wonderful gathering at Charlestowne Landing for the Mehndi ceremony and Sangeet. Then Tarang’s family gathered for the Haldi ceremony for the groom at Folly Beach the next morning.
For the day of the wedding the weather was as perfect as it could be as friends and family gathered to celebrate with Karlie & Tarang. What a beautiful celebration it was!

Courtney & Grant’s Wedding at Ashton Gardens

Courtney and Grant’s family and friends gathered from all over the country for their wedding at the beautiful Ashton Gardens a few weeks ago and I wanted to share their HD slideshow with you all as well as some photos from throughout the day.
I had photographed Courtney’s sister Brittany’s wedding 4 years ago it was such an honor that they chose me to photograph their wedding 4 years later. It was so great seeing familiar faces of family and friends and also work with another familiar face which is Kristen Knight with Shenanigans Wedding & Events. I always know things will go smoothly and look amazing when she is the coordinator for a wedding.
